#6308, "wide open sandbass ( i mean wide)"

sorry its a little late but i didnt get the pictures developed til today. on sunday me, my dad and my buddy went out of newport landing on the afternoon half day. we almost didnt make it because of traffic but thats a different story. we jump on the boat and head north. and keep heading we had about an hour and half boat ride up the coast line. at one point i told my dad, maybe we only need to fish for 30 minutes. i think i need to start writing fortune cookies or something. when we got there the bass immediatly went wide open. any bait, chovie or strip of squid that made it 20 feet down was instantly hit. it was unbeliavable. after a while it became a contest to see what you could catch a bass on. first it was whatever your ugliest plastic was. then it turned into using the wrapper from a corn nut bag. but the winner was a lady who caught a bass on a piece of brown paper towel.i got bored so i took a little mackeral my friend caught and sent it to the bottom. after a couple minutes a big dull pressure of a fish. up comes a 5 pound sandy http://www.momentoffame.com/snapshot.html?id=15639
you should of seen how many people immediatly sent mackeral down. the fish ended up winning jackpot. it was a very fun day and i cant wait to go back
