#7038, "Sea Adventure Albies"

I hate to say I told you so but... I posted openings on this charter a couple of months ago. This was one of the good ones. Limits for both days on albies. A few bluefin and a dozen Yellows. The fishing was very good. Weather was a bit messy. Chuck Taft is a very good skipper and a very good fisherman. He did alot of teaching on this trip. The first afternoon as it was getting sloppy he put the sea anchor out. We sat very comfortable and picked away at albies until dark. Always seemed to have a few going.

The second day we had an intense sundowner bite that was wide open for several minutes. The albies were right on the prop wash eating every bait. The ocean laid down and we had a nice ride home.

Chuck has updated the boat with new engines and bait tanks. he has added a slammer and refrigerated spray brine. The crew is very good. This was some of the best gaffing I have ver seen. Very little meat damage. The food was good. I recommend chartering this boat if you get the chance.
