Or better yet, "lack of laguna perch". All I got were short bites and snipped off grub tails. My buddy Jeff C and R'd 4 nice BSPs. Surf was up a bit too much and the fishy-looking areas were pretty sterile. We fished 2-2.5 inch motoroil/red and plain motoroil grubs. Pretty slow morning, fished 645 to 9.
