Fished the harbor off my kayak 4/29. Went mostly to test my fishfinder (it worked great). Got 30 short 'cuda and 1 short WSB on the fleto-tape Krok. Got 3 short sandies on the 3-in Kalin grub (smoke/hologram flake). Got 1 sea trout on 5-in greenback/silver flake Fisheeze on the troll. On the way back to the ramp, got 1 more cuda around 24 inches on the Kalin grub on the troll. Most fish were from 6 to 10 ft deep. No lunkers (or keepers) but plenty of action. Going for the 'bina today thanks to Bert's report. I threw lures from the beach for halibut Friday evening around dark. Thought I saw corbina fleeing upon seeing me but it was kinda dark so wasn't sure.
