What happened?

Went tubing off Goleta Beach Friday morning and almost got skunked! I couldn't believe it since we've been doing so well lately. I guess the cooler temperatures (overcast all the time) put a damper in the halibut bite. My brother and I went out from 6:30 - noon and only got one short halibut and a couple 12-14 inch Calicos (released of course). All were on Sardine Fishtraps - didn't even get a hit on the Fastrac. That's fishing!
