After buying a new medium Slammer at the BWW show on saturday and comparing it that night I noticed a few differences.
1. The wood portion is a little longer..I attribute this to the fact the lure is hand made though
2. The over all look of the lure is better, smoother surface almost looks plastic. My old bait you could see little flat areas where the bait was sanded
3. The lexan bill is narrower than my older one...
4. It likes to dive more than the old one...
5. Instead of the date made now it says 8. oz

Did Mike start making the lures differently that the lure looks better finished? New method of sanding perhaps? and also any reason for making the bill narrower?

Just bored, and excited about my new baits..
I'll try and get some pics up in a little bit that hopefully show what im talking about...
