Well I can't give the full review because I haven't thrown it yet, but it looks pretty cool. I picked up one of the new 8" charlie swimbaits from http://tacklewarehouse.com/ They decided to do this one with a paddle tail instead of a bill, like the smaller ones have. Can't really say i'm a big fan of paddle tail baits, but they seem to catch fish. It's got a double hook setup which puts the second hook in the middle of the bait, so it shouldn't have a problem hooking up. Other than that, it looks pretty much the same as the smaller versions. This bait definitely won't be replacing my Slammers, but it might be something to throw in deeper water. It weighs 4oz so it should sink fairly fast.
