That guy and myself launched at quarter to five or so. Quite a different start than last week for the surise tourney. Started at the island as we did last week for nada, moved over to the shack on the dock behind the island, that guy hooks a 2-1/2 to 3lber on the uncle manny minnow. I moved a little closer to get a cast behind the dock with the wake bait, I looked up and saw a shadow on the dock. Moved to where there was backlight from the sunrise and saw this shadow had a shotgun in hand. oh xxxx is all i could get out. this crazy XXXXX then mumbled something and pumped the shotgun, that sound is un-mistakable. She then blurts out "that's right, i warned yous before, stay away from my house!!" I simply could not speak. That guy told her to go take her meds and go back to sleep. They continued passing words back and forth until i let him know she had a shot gun. We kept kicking tell we got closer to the bridge. Be careful when fishing that area, I would hate to see any of our BNT'ers or anyone get shot.

Enough of that. We would over towards Union Point restaurant on the low tide. Bait everywhere and fish were hitting the popper at will. Lots of bait around. Moved back to the island for nada. Went between the island to avoid the nut jobz house and worked our way towards the barrier. That guy picks up another fish on the buzzbait. I on the other hand was struggling like usual. Fished the barrier are for a few dinks, while that guy did the same and moved on down to the first island above the barrier. I moved back down towards the launch site and back to the island for nada. As i was about to call it a day i started crakin. Working the outside of the weed line down victoria, caught 8 bass and a rat striper in the next 20 minutes. Nice way to end the day.
