Buuuut.... it is also more drag when you're trying to row. It can slow you down even more. The main thing is to get the livewell out of the water with the PVC and move it right behind the seat. You can see a good picture on how to do that in the rigging sections of the BnT Photos. I think it's the last three pictures posted on page 2. It also helps to drill some new holes to move you seat forward. Two inches can really help.
