Yeah, sounds right. Last I heard, opening had been pushed back till at least June. Should rock; whenever they open a store, they have incredible sales on some awesome stuff. Rancho is also a whole lot closer than Anaheim from my place too.:)

I wonder how long it will be before you start seeing Cabelas out there. Here in the midwest, the competition is tough..when ever they open one store, the other is right behind..Nathan

I just hope that the BPS they open out here will be better than the one in Vegas. The tackle selection in Vegas completely sucks compared to real BPS stores in other states. I drove past the Rancho store last weekend and it appears that its going to be a pretty large store.

Went and applied for a job in the fishing department last week. Have a second interview on Tuesday. I was told opening day is going to be June 28. I asked what kind of aquarium setup they're going to have and supposedly it's going to be a creek with a bunch of trout in it aimed at looking like somwhere in Mammoth and a trophy bass tank. I also asked if they're going to do any kind of speicalization as far as tackle goes for the SoCal crowd, sadly the answer is no. I was told the company has a single buyer who gets all the stuff for all 40 stores. Kinda sucks, but this place should still be pretty cool.

My daughter got a job at the BPS in the accounting office. She told me some guy named Morris or Johnny somebody (she doesn’t know the players) from corporate came to town and insisted on some construction changes. The new opening date is now July18. It is a good job for her, the BPS is only 5 miles from the house.
