Hey again, today i fished Lopez lake from about 9:30 til 2:30. The action started slow (for me atleast). My buddy had 3 bites in 20 minutes and only landed one of them. His sinker was too big. Then some other guys come along and catch like 4. I still dont even have a bite. The action is slow except for a guy next to us snaggin a few on the super duper fished super slow. When some people started catching them on a dock, i moved over there. The bite went wide open. In minutes, everyone (like 8 people) was fishing off of the dock and killing them. They would bite anything. What a blast on the new sedona 1000 and ultra light rod! I got about 7 of them, and farmed 3. My friend got about 2. In the group of 8, were some people i knew. They borrowed a rod of mine and slayed them too. They got 4 or 5 in under a half hour. They all ended up between 1 pound with one plump one going around 2. Not huge, but great non stop action. We were catching them on super dupers, kastmasters, Thomas Bouyants of course (most and biggest), rooster tails, and a few on the little cleo. We had an assortment, but hey, we are all tackle ho's. After a different lure was tied on, the fish would kill it. Over all a great day. Hey Ken A., lets get out there. Maybe not the tube because of the mad wind, but it was a blast. By the way, we were fishing at the gas dock cove.
