I don't own any interest in the company but I gotta give everybody a heads up on a good product with a little flaw and excellent service.
I bought an All Star Western Inshore series rod at a small indepentant tackle store in Norwalk. First time I take it out the eyelet falls (not knocked out) out of the bottom guide. I go back to the shop and they tell me the lifetime guarrantee is ONLY for the blank and not the guides, etc. I figured they thought I was an idiot so I left, never to be seen again.
Scene two: I emailed the circumstances to the service department at All Star. Service's Kim proceeds to get the details of my troubles and after a number of emails I find a new rod at my doorstep within a matter of days.
I will buy from this company again as it not only makes a good, solid product but just as important is willing to back up any problems that less honest entities wouldn't address. Product and business ethics made in America.

I have an all-star rod that I use for 12 lb. I have absolutely brutalized this rod and caught a lot of fish on it. I really like the blank. Good product for the price.
