Decided to sleep in a little today, so my dad and i hit the beach a little before 8. Fished from 8-10 and got 5 bsp all palm sized and one at 13", 2 yfc 10", and 1 beanie 12", between the 2 of us. We decided to go make some live bait off the pier and go fish off the jetty. Got to the jetty to find all but 3 of our baits have died, but we decided to give it a try anyways. I ended up getting one 10" sand bass. My dad decided to try the sand crabs that he had left from the surf, and first cast gets an 11" sheepshead, which was a first for us in the harbor. After it died. As we were about to leave a spear fishermen comes up on the beach with about a 28"-30" halibut. Overall it wasnt the best day ive ever had, but wasnt the worst day either. O ya everything was C&R.

good job bro. sheephead in the harbor is crazy. surfed huntington today and the beanies were thick. made me wish i had a rod. tight lines.
