Ok, first, what is this fish, second, what is the legal for Halibut.
and finally, Cabrillo bite was slow this weekend. But, I did manage to catch this 21" (happliy released) off the shore at Cabrillo. Of all things, the bait was a week old sardine from the barge the on the previous weekend at Cabrillo. Going to hit the simple green area tonight with the rest of the sardines. Will post tomorrow. Can anyone let me know the fish in the pic's, and the legal for the Halibut?
Can't catch tomorrow what you kill today....

22" is the minimum size for California halibut - the kind you catch at Cabrillo. You almost had a legal one. Cloe but no cigar.
