For throwing the larger hard swimbaits, such as the Nates, Ragos and 3:16's do you want to use a moderate fast action rod with a soft tip? Or is it just user preference? Thanks guys

As far as tearing the hooks out, I really dont think that's a problem with the size of the trebles that are on Swimbaits. Look at a jig, bet the hook is almost the same size as most of your trebles on the big baits. Yes the jig hook is longer but the bend is the same. I would use the same rod I throw my hudds on.

Yes, this is confusing. I changed nicco's handle to niKKo. It looks like some of his posts are still coming as nicco, which means he needs to log out, then log back in with the new name.

glad that was just a name change. When i first saw niKKo I thougth we had a nicco, niKKo and of course nico. I confuse easly would have been to much for my tiny bass brain :+
