I'm looking for a 4-5 foot rod I can use for pulling smelt.
Not too light, maybe a heavy ultralight(oxymoron, I know).
Spinning, in good condition, no need for a reel.

Hey Rudy...I dont have one for sale but I got mine a few years back at Sport Chalet...for like 6 bucks...its a South Bend fiberglass rod, 4ft long. Seems like its an ice fishing rod...its strong and flexible though...I have caught 3/4pound bluegills on it and also some small bass....it can bend a total circle without breaking...where are fishing for Smelt?...You should go by if there is one near you and see if they have any ice rods...hope that helps....
