Hey Swimbait, I hear ya' brother ! I definately agree that maybe the best time for a trophy bass is on the front side of a front ! However, as it is, I can only "squeeze" in about 120 days a year on the water, so reguardless of what the weather is like, I have to go when I can, and as I recently wrote about, "If a guy only goes on the best weather fronts, near a full or new moon, only during the Spring, etc., he will not end up spending much time on the water, and will drastically reduce his chances at a trophy ! Fact is, many of my best catches have come on days which would not be considered optimum ! I would say, fish whenever you can........good weather is just a bonus !
