Berkeley pier, Treasure island, alcatraz, angel island, hunters point-candlestick park, oyster point...are all good areas to fish. Fish for perch in most areas close to shore. Areas like Treasure, alcatraz, angel island you can pick up some rockcods. Berkeley, hunters point, oyster point you can go for stripers, sturgeons and halibut and perch.

For perch, use pile worms and cut up shrimps using hi/lo method and fish near shore.

For rockcods, use cut up shrimps and very close to rocky areas, especially near islands but do get snag alot and do use light weights.

For striper, halibut, use shiner perch (catch those near piers with very small hooks)anchovies, live baits always best. Heard a few halibuts were caught in the oyster point area.

For sturgeon, use grass shrimp or find out where herring spawns are and catch some of those seaweeds, they are loaded with herring eggs or just use herrings.

Or just find locations where there is either inlets to something or tubes where tidal water will bring water in those areas are always good like between candlestick point and oyster point, very close to highway 101, there is a tube that flush in water when high tide and water gush out when low tide. Fish those area after top of tide when water is coming back out.
