Rob recommended the Promar halibut/salmon release net a few years ago and I picked one up on that recommendation. I've been very pleased with it. I don't think you can find a better net for the fish. They lay flat in the bottom without any fin damage. The only downside is that the net is NOT hook resistant by any means. Even with the hook tangles, I'm pleased with the net as I've never seen any damage on any of my fish.
