#26007, "Delta Safety"

Any words of advice or words of wisdom that I should know about the Delta before I get out there?

Like tides...I understand the tide comes in, the tide goes out. But, is this in any way a safety factor? Should I not go to a particular part of water because of a tide?

What about boat traffic? Should I try and stay a certain distance from shore, or go anywhere but just make sure I'm paying attention while going backwards :D

Having never fished the Delta I don't know what to expect. Once I'm there, I'll just fish it like I would any new spot...throw everyting I can till I get a bite :+
