You can always toss the swimbait and just pray a striper is hungry in the area. They are fun. The couple times I've fished from the levee i just either chucked a rattletrap over the weedbeds and tossed plastics into holes in the weeds. I also would walk down to the edges of the tules and throw parallel as far i could to work lures in front of the tules. The louis park area is easy to fish at and real close to whites, the problem prolly is that it would be real dirty still(maybe not though I havent been over there in awhile), its on the main channel. If your gonna chuck the swimbait for stripers I've been told you want the clear water. I've only caught them on the sassy shad type swimbaits and used them as a spoon, but I don't think thats the swimbait throwing you were thinking of :7 cz
